My name is Laura,

I am a textile designer and artist, my products include: machine, needle and hand knitted scarves, handbags, fabric brooches, stitched ornaments, tableware, stylish soft furnishings, Jewellery, original design handmade greeting cards, portraits and paintings. Everything in this site is original and unique. I make most of my fabric designs with hand and machine knitting techniques; I also do lots of felting like needle felting and wet felting. The materials are varied, from lambswool to cotton and acrylics.

All products can be made to order, customers are welcome and encouraged to select materials, design, size and colour specifications.

I am inspired by world around us; each product is inspired by some aspect of it: nature, art, design, architecture. I aim to produce tactile, interesting and highly individualized pieces, using a variety of techniques and materials the customer can purchase highly original designs made with attention to detail.

I also have original art works for sale; abstract acrylic paintings on canvas and pencil drawings on paper. Drawings are sold with or without a frame. Portraits are available and can be finished to a high standard from photograph (can be e-mailed which saves cost for both myself and the customers).
